Events Volunteer

Become part of the established fundraising team at Brendoncare and provide practical help and support. We are looking for ad hoc and regular supporters to get involved in event & organisational support and help raise the profile of care for older people. Events can be anything from sports challenges (The Great South Run or a Skydive) to concerts, music gigs or collections outside a superstore. You may help in the pre planning stage, get involved in the publicity and promotion of the event, liaise with schools, colleges, community groups and companies or help on the day with the set-up and close-down.

Daycare Centre Helpers

Some of our homes offer daycare centre facilities, where home residents or older people from the local community are collected from their homes and brought to Brendoncare to spend time in the company of others. The daycare centre is run by an activity co-ordinator, who fills each day with a variety of activities, entertainment and discussions. Could you provide an extra pair of hands in our daycare centre so that more residents can take part in the fullest possible way?
